Hello, and welcome to my blog. I opened this site about 5 years ago as an anonymous outlet while I was in my residency training. Just today, I upgraded so that I have a domain name and an email with this site.
On Wednesday Sept 27th at 9:30am CT, I will be hosting a Zoom call for holistic health workers associated with Charles Eisenstein’s online community, the Sanity Project. This will be our second call, and I intend to continue hosting on a weekly basis, and to also reflect on my experiences as a host on this blogspace.
My intention is to create a container for folks who work as healers to find allies and support for the challenging work that we do. There are 8 individuals who are invited to this 2nd call, and I know at least 1 of those people is unavailable. There is a sliding scale of time commitment from 1 to 2 hours. What this means, is that I hope everyone can come for the first 60 minutes, and that if anyone wants to stay for up to 2 hours total, that my schedule is clear for that.
For the 60 minutes, you can anticipate a grounding exercise at the beginning, and then an opportunity for each participant to introduce themselves, and to check-in about their work for up to 5 minutes. For the rest of the time, there will be an open floor, with a final checkout at the end of the 60 minutes.
